Who we are

Manzanita Outreach is a community-based organization serving Yavapai County. We bring people together around food — sourcing it locally, sharing it thoughtfully, and ensuring access feels reliable and respectful.

What may look simple on the surface — a welcoming food share, a delivery to a senior, a classroom snack — is supported by careful coordination behind the scenes. We work with local growers, food providers, volunteers, schools, and community partners to move nutritious food where it is needed most.

We believe food access should feel steady, not uncertain. It should feel dignified, not transactional.

That belief shapes how we operate every day.

How Our Work Happens

Sharing nutritious food at scale requires more than goodwill.

It requires strong partnerships, safe storage and transportation, trained staff and volunteers, thoughtful planning, and responsible financial stewardship.

We maintain warehouse space, refrigerated vehicles, coordinated volunteer systems, and data tools that help us distribute food efficiently and equitably. We invest in infrastructure so that access feels simple and reliable to the people we serve.

For our community, this means trust.
For our partners, this means coordination.
For our donors, this means their investment supports systems that last.

A Community Effort

Manzanita Outreach exists because our community invests in it.

Local growers, volunteers, schools, donors, and partner organizations make this work possible. When you support Manzanita — whether by showing up, spreading the word, or making a financial contribution — you are strengthening a local system that benefits the entire county.

We are here for the long work of building something steady, dignified, and sustainable together.
