Sharing Food. Building Community.

Manzanita Outreach connects neighbors to nutritious food and essential resources through a local system rooted in dignity, joy, and equity.

  • We distribute fresh, nutritious food through welcoming, community-based food shares designed to reduce barriers and respect choice.

  • We partner with educators and youth leaders to provide in-class food and safe, guided volunteer experiences that help young people learn about community, responsibility, and shared effort.

  • Through our events and partnerships, we help connect people to additional services that support health, stability, and well-being.

  • Through senior living communities and trusted partner referrals, we deliver food to neighbors facing urgent or ongoing barriers to access — meeting people where they are.

Manzanita Outreach brings people together around food — sourcing it locally, sharing it thoughtfully, and making sure access feels reliable and dignified. Our programs are built alongside the community, shaped by real needs, and carried forward through shared effort.

Food is how we connect — systems are how we sustain it.

Volunteer

Manzanita Outreach runs on the energy and generosity of our mighty volunteer community. Each week, neighbors come together to help share food, organize distributions, support deliveries, and keep our programs running smoothly.

Whether you can help occasionally or on a regular basis, we would love to connect with you. Volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
