VERDE VALLEY NEIGHBORHOOD FOOD PROJECT
1 in 7 Americans struggles with hunger.
The Verde Valley Neighborhood Food Project is an innovative, new way to fight hunger in our community. You want to help. We make it easy.
We have a food distribution problem!
In America, there is more than enough food for everyone. So, as it relates to food insecurity
When it comes to food security, there is not a food problem. There is a distribution problem. Distribution problems require distribution solutions. The reality is there is more than enough healthy food for everyone. And when a community works together, the gaps in services are filled and the shared goal of food security for all is realized.

“Our program great!”
Program Description
Every two months—on the second Saturday of every even-numbered month—our Neighborhood Coordinators pick up bags of healthy nonperishable food that neighbors (we call them Food Donors) have left outside their front doors. Neighborhood Coordinators leave empty green bags for next time, and take all the food to local organizations that provide food assistance into our community. It’s that easy!
